In 2020 there will be 41 primarily Spanish songs will make the top 100. Justin Bieber remixed Despacito 2017 as a bilingual rendition. In the following months, several artists collaborated with reggaeton superstars such as Drake and Bad Bunny with MIA (2018), Madonna and Maluma with Medellin 2019 In 2020, a few Reggaeton artists were complaining about the direction of their genre to the mainstream. However, a younger generation like Rauw Alejandro was keen to maintain the development. The genre often included elements of electronic dance music as well as other styles.
