Carey who's 5'10, was once a leading American models for fashion. Designers of the top calibre, including Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren liked her. Her father was a distinguished geologist, who was in 1979 named Scientist of the year from the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. Carey is a resident of all over the world as a result his career. When she finished her studies at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, she started modeling on the side. The idea caught the attention of an agent at Ford Model Agency New York. The year was 1980 when she emigrated to France where she briefly resided in Paris and Bordeaux, before returning in New York in order to pursue an acting career. She appeared on Vogue and Glamour covers. When she was modeling, she continued to study in full-time a major in literature at New York University. In time, she began to become interested in acting and attended the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York. The actress had a tiny part on Club Paradise with Robin Williams in 1986. She is a rock climber, skiing, and windsurfing.
