
Kristen Anne Bell was born July 18, 1980. [1] She is an American actor and singer. She began her acting career by acting in stage productions while studying at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, she made her Broadway stage debut in the role of Becky Thatcher in the comedy musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and was a part of the Broadway revival of The Crucible the following year. Then, she appeared in the action-thriller Spartan (2004). She was also recognized for her portrayal of Becky Thatcher from The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. The following year, she appeared on Broadway for a revival of The Crucible. In the 2014 film the series, she reprised her part as the title character in the reboot of the series in 2019, she reprised her role. Bell starred from 2007 to 2008 in the role of Elle Bishop in Heroes, a superhero drama series. Bell was the voice of the titular narrator on the show for teens called Gossip Girl. She will reprise the role in the sequel in 2021. Bell also played the character of Jeannie van den Hooven, who is the main female character on Showtime's comedy series House of Lies. Bell starred in the lead character of Eleanor Shellstrop on the critically popular NBC comedy series The Good Place, receiving an Golden Globe Award nomination for her role. Additionally, Bell played the role of the lead in the streaming series The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window.
